Why Your Website Isn’t Generating Leads — and How to Fix It
Traffic without enquiries is a design problem. The most common conversion leaks — and the fixes that close them.

You have a website. People visit it. And yet the phone stays quiet. Traffic without enquiries usually is not a marketing problem — it is a website problem.
These are the leaks we find most often when auditing Singapore SME websites, in rough order of damage.
Visitors can’t tell what you do
You have five seconds. If the first screen does not say what you do, who it is for and why you are credible, the back button wins. Clever taglines lose to clear ones every time.
Fix: a headline that names the service and the customer, with proof (reviews, clients, results) immediately visible.
Contacting you takes effort
Every extra step costs you enquiries. A contact form with seven fields, a phone number hidden on a contact page, no WhatsApp option — each one filters out real buyers.
Fix: phone, WhatsApp and a short form available from every page, especially on mobile.
The site is slow on mobile
Most Singapore traffic is mobile, and slow pages bleed visitors before they ever see your offer. Heavy sliders, uncompressed images and bloated themes are the usual culprits.
Fix: compress images, cut plugins and aim for a first load under three seconds on 4G.
No reason to trust you
Buyers compare three or four options. Reviews, completed projects, recognisable clients and clear pricing signals push the decision your way; their absence pushes it away.
Fix: put genuine reviews and real work on the pages where decisions happen — service pages, not just a testimonials page.
Final thoughts
Conversion is the cheapest marketing there is: same traffic, more customers. Before spending more on ads, make sure the bucket is not leaking.
