Platforms

Four platforms, and the honest version of when each one is right. Webby SG has built over 100 websites, and the work we can show you is on WordPress and WooCommerce. That is where our track record is, and it is the first thing you should know before anyone recommends anything.

WordPress — the default, and usually the right one
Pages your own team can edit, full control of titles, descriptions and structured data, and a site you own outright: the domain, the hosting and the content stay in your name. WordPress is what most of our published work is built on, across cleaning, coaching, design, education, facilities, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, marine, professional services and transport. What we build on WordPress.
WooCommerce — WordPress with the shop in it
For selling online without a revenue share, a plan tier, or a limit on what the store is allowed to do. Product data buyers can actually use, payments that work for Singapore customers, and a checkout that does not lose people between the cart and the confirmation. WooCommerce is what we build when the site has to sell, across industrial, retail, sport, transport, services and professional sectors. What we build on WooCommerce.
Shopify — when you want the plumbing to be someone else's job
Hosting, security, PCI compliance and updates handled for you, in exchange for a monthly fee and a ceiling on customisation. We build on Shopify, and we will say plainly that our ecommerce track record is on WooCommerce rather than let you find that out later. Shopify, and how it compares.
Wix — for a small site that has to exist now
It handles a five-page site quickly and cheaply, and the owner can change the opening hours on a Sunday evening without calling anyone. What to know first: there is no export, so moving later means rebuilding, and SEO control is narrower than on WordPress. When Wix makes sense.
Choosing between them
Tell us what you sell, how many products, and who will run the site day to day — that is usually enough to say which one fits. Scope and pricing live on the web development and ecommerce pages rather than behind a discovery call, and you can judge the work yourself: the case studies are listed on our work.

Describe the problem in a sentence. We will tell you which service actually solves it — even when that answer is "not yet".
